23rd ANNUAL DENTON HOLIDAY LIGHTING

Capture the true spirit of a small-town holiday celebration at the 23rd Annual Holiday Lighting Festival on Friday, December 2nd, 2011 on Denton’s Historic Courthouse Square.

You don’t want to miss the Denton Holiday Spectacular at 8pm featuring Paul Slavens, Sarah Jaffe, members of Midlake, Bubba Hernandez, Steve Wiest, Chris Flemmons and more accompanied by the 11-piece Holiday Lighting Orchestra directed by Denton’s own David Pierce!

Once again the festival will be hosting a toy drive. Toys gathered will be distributed to families needing assistance during the Christmas season in Denton County. A drive-through toy drop-off will be at the southeast corner of the square.

Traveling to Denton for the Holiday Lighting Festival? Forget I-35 and jump on board the Wonderland Express! Take the A-train from Carrollton or Lewisville stations and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, a visit with Santa and other goodies! Complimentary bus service will take passengers from the Downtown Denton Transit Center to the Courthouse Square.
